Taylor Swift is one of those celebrities who seems to only hang out with other celebrities, and that means checking her Instagram is equivalent to checking “Star Tracks” on people.com.

I usually approve of TSwift’s besties, but Vanessa from Gossip Girl is where I draw the line. Everyone knows Vanessa is one of the worst characters in TV history, and is a close 2nd to Jenny Humphrey in GG history. You could argue that Taylor is actually hanging out with Jessica Szohr, but let’s be honest—anyone who lets Ed Westwick get away can’t be much smarter than V.

The only good thing about this friendship is if they hang out again, I have another excuse to write about how much I hate Vanessa and pretend I’m Gossip Girl.
