On the 5^th day of Christmas, Sarah Marie visited Stars Hollow, Lorelai and Rory…

December 7^th: Wouldn’t it be nice to celebrate every holiday with Lorelai and Rory Gilmore? There’s only two episodes of Gilmore Girls where Santa visits Stars Hollow, but they’re both solid episodes.

In the first season of GG, Lorelai gets uninvited from the Gilmore Family Christmas Party after a fight with Emily, and spends her holiday at Luke’s (and he makes her a Santa Burger—swoon!) However, Forgiveness and Stuff takes a dramatic turn when Richard is rushed to the hospital.

Seven years later the Gilmores tackle Christmas again in Santa’s Secret Stuff. Lorelai and Christopher wait to celebrate Xmas with Rory because she spent the holiday in London with Logan. And even though it’s Lorelai first Christmas with Christopher, the episode ends up being more about Luke (because, duh). PS if Twitter was a thing in 2007 #HockeyPuckRattlesnakeMonkeyMonkeyUnderpants definitely would have trended.

Don’t forget that Santa prefers gum over cookies and to watch what you say in front of Lorelai because she knows Santa (she did his dry cleaning).
