I’ve seen The Parent Trap approximately 23 times, and the fact that Nick and Hallie Parker’s cook is named “Chessy” and not “Jesse” shocked me. I don’t know if I’m more angry at myself for getting the name of this character wrong for so many years or at the entire cast for repeatedly pronouncing it wrong. I don’t know if I’ll ever watch the movie the same way again. I guess this doesn’t help either:
