On the 2nd day of Christmas, Sarah Marie wanted me to see Blair, Serena, Chuck, Nate and Jenny…
December 4th: Merry early Christmas, Upper East Siders! Holidays on Gossip Girl include drama with a side of love triangle, fashion and more drama. There are three GG Christmas episodes: Roman Holiday, It’s A Wonderful Lie and The Townie. Roman Holiday is in the first season, and follows Dan and Serena trying to find each other the perfect presents and Blair trying to convince her father to move back to NYC. Nothing says Merry Christmas like Derena: The Early Years and classic Blair Waldorf sabotage.
A Snowflake Ball—that features a see through dress, Chuck and Blair lookalikes and Aaron Rose— is the perfect way to spend your holiday. It’s A Wonderful Lie reminds us that Christmas is about spending time with the people you love (even if you’re trying to deny who that is)—just ask Blair and Chuck, Dan and Serena and Lily and Rufus.
The Townie shows the darker side of Christmas. Juliet Sharp is dealing with the aftermath of drugging Serena for revenge (#classicGGprobs) and showing our beloved S that Xmas in rehab is no treat. The whole gang works together to help Serena and the van der Woodsen Christmas party serves as the perfect backdrop. A Lily/Chuck showdown, Damien Dalgaard and flashbacks of Serena at boarding school are other holiday highlights.
If you’re looking to give GG-inspired presents, B would recommend a new cellphone (Dorota loved it), D and S would suggest homemade presents and Juliet would surprise her loved ones with revenge wrapped up and a bow on top.
Have a holly, jolly Christmas. XOXO, Gossip Girl
