I love ABC Family’s 25 Days of Christmas, but I think it’s time to incorporate some classic teen dramas and new holiday specials into your holiday queue. Since I’m technically 3 days late, Sarah Marie’s 25 Days of Christmas is going to start on December 3rd and end on December 28th (a great way to cure your Xmas hangover… or keep it going). Be sure to come back everyday and find out what holiday treat I have planned for you.

December 3rd: Nashville takes on Christmas tonight when Rayna and fiancé Luke decide to film a Christmas Special at their house. Think the Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson Variety Hour (the country duo is even singing Baby It’s Cold Outside like Nick & Jess). Here’s hoping Rayna decides to trade in Luke for Deacon when they go under the mistletoe, and the other characters sing classic holiday tunes.

PS: Doesn’t thinking about Connie Britton celebrating the holidays make you wish there was a Friday Night Lights Christmas episode?! Clear eyes, full hearts, can’t stop eating Christmas cookies.

Keep the music theme alive with Christmas at Rockefeller Center, which airs tonight at 8pm. I’d recommend muting Lady Gaga’s performance (and switching to Survivor), and turning up the volume when Queen Elsa (Idina Menzel) sings.
