Everyone should know to stay away from caffeine pills. Not because of health class, their parents or any other general warning. Because of this:
If for some reason you haven’t seen this episode of Saved by the Bell (shame on you), what you’re seeing above is Jessie Spano having a mental breakdown as a result of the caffeine pills she took to try and stay on top of everything. I mean what’s a girl to do when you have a math midterm AND a life-changing music audition? After a few days of pill-popping, Jesse starts acting like she drank 10 cups of coffee in 5 minutes and eventually loses it which leads to the infamous line: “I’m so excited, I’m so excited, I’m so, I’m so… scared!” (sung to the tune of I’m So Excited by The Pointer Sisters…kind of).
After such an iconic moment (which recently played again on E!… I may or may not wake up 20 minutes early everyday to fit in at least one Saved by the Bell rerun), why would Spencer on Pretty Little Liars and Scarlett on Nashville both make the same mistake within a week of each other? I mean I assume Spencer and Scarlett watched TV when they were younger. There are other ways to handle school/college applications, your boyfriend and a crazy stalker named A torturing you, Spence (like time management, and if that doesn’t work: alcohol—just kidding, we know alcohol only makes things worse for the PLLs #Emily). And Scarlett, just learn to say no every once in awhile and take a few naps during the week. You’re the one with the voice, so take control of your own career (solving problems seems so much easier when they’re played out on TV).
Speaking of Nashville, NASCAR driver Austin Dillon was on this week’s episode, and also happens to be friends with my cousin. AKA I know someone who knows someone who knows Tami Taylor (Connie Britton). AKA I’m famous and hanging out with the cast of Friday Night Lights is totally in my future (I may seem calm about this, but inside I’m like: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).
You should post a video of yourself singing “I’m so excited” because of how famous you are. (But not as famous as your popular cousin, who brings everything to the table while Ms. Hearon sits and watches TV for “celebrity knowledge”
